It takes a village & a cat

Baby Leeve started helping me feed Cora & Canon their yogurt. At first he was just watching but then he put his paw on the spoon with each bite.

Frenemies Forever

It's begun

I always gently wake anyone who doesn't get up on their own for school. The curtains had been open for 5 minutes at this point and the other 3 were running around playing when Calan said, "I really can't go to school today because I have a fever." He hadn't even opened his eyes yet and he was self diagnosing. None of the kids have really missed school for an illness so I'm not sure where he picked up the fever bit.

Signed some more real papers

We are in love with this little nugget!!! His caseworker dropped off some adoption papers yesterday that needed signed then sent with our fingerprints down to Indianapolis. We're getting closer.

Never too much love

When other people touch my children without my permission it makes me uneasy. But the intention has never been negative so I try to understand that it is coming from a loving place.
While we were checking out last night the cashier asked Camille if she wanted to sit on the counter then placed her up there. She then traded her prescription glasses for Camille's reading glasses she'd been carrying around the store. We found out that Christina was one of six children growing up. What a beautiful way to leave the store with my baby feeling loved on.

At preschool

The guy in the bucket kept waving at the kids and they were all loving it.
