I always gently wake anyone who doesn't get up on their own for school. The curtains had been open for 5 minutes at this point and the other 3 were running around playing when Calan said, "I really can't go to school today because I have a fever." He hadn't even opened his eyes yet and he was self diagnosing. None of the kids have really missed school for an illness so I'm not sure where he picked up the fever bit.
