We took pics while driving. My mom Googled facts about the arch and other things we saw along the trip. I love getting smarter. :)
Calan ate things on this trip that he'd only heard of. Lucky Charms, sugar coated donuts, POPTARTS!!! the list goes on.
Some hotels had dance floors.
Mo came on the Cavern Tour!
Really new phone, really?
We laughed our way into Indiana. The windshield wiper fluid didn't have antifreeze in it so my mom had to pour bottled water out the window so that we could see out. She was already "in trouble" for missing the Illinois welcome sign that the mere sight of the Indiana sign, which was almost unreadable, made us both start laughing. We had been playing the yes/no game and four answers for too long at this point and that laugh was a welcome break. I'm too sad that Cody and the other kids didn't join us. I missed my other babies so much on this trip that even one day longer would have been too long. I talked to Cody 20+ times a day and it didn't feel like enough. We are so happily codependent. I love my family. Even all the crazy ones in California. Calan and I will remember this past week forever. So happy to be home. So, so, so happy to be home.
