Two & a Half

2 1/2 looks like this:

Calan can identify all colors & say their names.
He can count to 13 by himself.
He is able to speak in a complete sentence (about 5-6 words).
Calan can walk up & down stairs without holding onto anything.
He plays by himself and loves to pretend play.
He is now in size FOUR pants (with a belt & safety pins).
He can wear his brother's 12 month pants as shorts, too.
He sleeps in his own bedroom.
When the mail comes he says, "for meeeee?"
He is in a twin bed.
Calan loves fruit.
He refers to himself as "me". Me hungry, tired etc.
He drinks out of a regular cup.
We sometimes let HIM pray out loud before we all eat.
He is able to buckle & unbuckle the top part of his car seat (I can barely do the bottom).
He listens very well in public & can follow instruction.
He waits to hold someone's hand in a parking lot.
Calan loves his brother & will help him without me asking.
He loves to look at books and is VERY good at finding objects.
He is able to do simple puzzles and is becoming good at memory games.
He brushes his teeth on his own (& then I do, of course).
He can put on his own shoes.
He can get undressed & dressed (but his shirt is usually backwards).
He asks to go to church almost every day.
He says "please" "thank you" "your welcome" & "excuse me" without us asking.
He always says "bless you" when someone sneezes ... including himself.
He might start preschool in the fall if we can come up with the $ :)
Calan would live outside if we'd let him.
His dog is his best friend.
He runs nonstop.
He takes naps on my bed for about an hour every afternoon.
He is very independent.
Calan has only had ONE haircut since birth.
