We are still hanging on to each day and making it a point to be outside without our snowsuits on.  Don't think this is going to last too much longer, though.

Against ALL Rational Judgement

So, we threw caution to the wind & whipped our van into the Krispy Kreme parking lot around 7:30 last night. The red sign was on so we knew that the doughnuts were hot & free. We've NEVER given our children doughnuts. EVER. But we did last night. 

It took Calan so long to eat his one & only donut that he had to finish it in the car.

Long time coming

We've been talking about taking this picture ever since Case was born.  If I even remember correctly Cody & I saw this shirt when we were out & about & we thought that BFF had to have it because Cody is always wearing a baby & he thought that BFF should be too.  Well it finally happened. 

To the Woods we Go

The kids were able to climb on, in & through these fallen trees.

 We collected all kinds of leaves, sticks, berries & pods on our walk.

 Lolo loves the water.

& to fetch.

Maybe she's some kind of retriever?

 Camille lasted a good 14 minutes before she decided that she was having the worst day of her life.

 It usually doesn't take her that long.

 While she 'rested' we threw rocks and sticks and leaves and grass into a huge puddle.

 She couldn't resist coming closer so that we could hear her screaming even better.

 Case is almost nonexistent. We just place him anywhere & he's quiet & happy. 

 We rolled over fallen trees for a long little while.

 We found all kinds of bugs & worms.

 Cody & Calan had to do man stuff.

They balanced on trees together.

 Case.

Need I say more?

 I know that this log doesn't look very high but they were over six feet in the air.

-We know this because Cody could walk under it.

The official tooth count on Race Car as of today.

Case got his very first tooth yesterday!

We also went to Ox Bow park for the 1st time & loved it.

Geo wanted some new pics of him & Jaycee for Christmas cards (this isn't the pic that's going on his card).

After I finished we stayed & walked around for a couple of hours.

Calan walked ahead with Lola at one point & when we turned the corner there he was with LoLo wrapped around him. He was just standing there with his hands over his eyes.

Cody tossed the kids in the air a few times.

And then we went home.

In this House

We always wash our fruit.

Usually in the kitchen sink.

But Sweet Cit brought his apple upstairs &

into the bath with him last night.

Too School for Cool

 Just some glasses we found on a walk.

Our Girl has Standards.

She's not the type to kiss & tell.

She's actually not the type to kiss at all.
