Coloring Our Eggs

 We used two different types of dye methods this year. 

Of course, I bought the egg dye last year after easter and splurged on the clearance tie dyer.

It was a hit.

You just put the egg in with some dye and start pumping the button.

This caused the only egg casualty this year. 

Calan spun his egg so fast and long that when we took the lid off it smelled like egg salad.  

 The vinegar smelled gross. 

They thought that it was so funny to plug their noses because of the smell.

 The twins were in on the whole thing.

And here they sit. 

All two dozen. 

Well, all 23.

I'm sure I will move them 4 times before Easter hits.

Brothers

Case and Calan wrestle almost every night right before bed. 

We still tell Calan and Camille that Case is a baby so they need to be careful.

This gives Race the upper hand.

Six Months Old

Wiggles turned 6 months old on the 18th.

Case is becoming a BIG BOY.

Tonight he did his first poop in the toilet.

If you squint and turn your head to the left you can see that tiny little speck of poo sitting in the bottom of our toilet.

 We were all so proud of him.

 We even had a mini party in the bathroom.

They Were Free

That's always a good reason to get a pet.

Or two.

We've named our pigs Aunt & Uncle. 

 We've had them for almost a week and we get them out every night and sit in a circle on the kitchen floor. I make a little veggie-salad and we all take turns feeding them. 

 Case loves to hold them. He can catch and pick them up all by himself.

Four months old and can sit up on the floor all by herself.

Guessing Game

Both Camille and Calan made these at school to give to us as Valentine's Day gifts.

I'm not going to say which kid made which one.

You guess.

Question of the Day

 The other morning Calan woke up and asked if we could have doughnuts and coffee for breakfast.

Cody and I don't even drink coffee.

I asked him what he was talking about and he showed me a picture in a book he was reading the night before. There were people in it dunking doughnuts into mugs. He just assumed it was coffee.

Luckily for him I had everything on hand to make him doughnuts to dunk in milk.

 Cinnamon sugar doughnuts.

Everyone loved them.

These are some of the last days that we will be able to see that sweet little bald spot on the back of Cora's head. Her tiny little red birth mark will forever be covered by soft hair. Gone forever. It will be missed.

Milk Mustache

Camille called me into the living room to see her feed the baby.

I wasn't expecting to see her breastfeeding the baby.

She even burped her when she was finished eating.

1st day of school!

 Last week Camille turned 3.

This week she starts school.

Today was her first day.

 Calan was ready to show her the ropes.

He is an expert at being a student.

That afternoon was just the perfect day to sit outside on Grandpa's steps.

Case ate a little over half of the tub of raisins.

At least it wasn't candy, right?

It's Camille's 3rd Birthday!

Yesterday at MOPS our craft was to paint a plate.

I chose to paint a birthday plate. 

 Coco loves birthday parties.

Because all of our children are so close in age they all get candles when it is someone's birthday.

My Mom's Gone

She left today and we are already missing her.

Calan has to sleep alone.

Wrigley doesn't get held as much.

Case is lonely.

Lola goes hungry.

The bird feeders don't get filled.

Camille has no one to sit with. 

Cora isn't being rocked.

Cody has to do all of the dishes.

Mehoff's water bowl is empty.

It's just sad.

Cody & I found Coco like this on the couch.

The last we knew she was sleeping & covered up.

Case came into the kitchen and wanted us to go see her.

Calan was in the playroom so we asked him about it.

He acted like it was no big deal and said that he put the antennas on Cora's head.

Cora Rolled Over

This morning while we were cleaning puke out of Camille's hair.

Coco was downstairs all by herself.

On her back.

When Grandma came back down she was on her tummy.

Tonight we have gymnastics.

Last week Cody and I both were able to go to gymnastics with the oldest two.

My mom is here and she stayed with the others.

I was able to carry around my camera and take pictures of both kids.

Things are getting loud now and I'm losing my train of thought.

It happened.
Calan and Camille are both in Gymnastics.
They love it.

They are in different classes but learned all of the same things.
Head stands were a clear favorite.
They even came home and tried teaching Case how to do them.
