One Last Hurrah

Today is Cody's last day off of work.

He wanted to go out with a bang. 

So... 

we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese while Wrigley was at his visitation today.
Case taught us how to win at skee ball.
Get the ball.
Walk up the lane.
Place the ball in any hole.
*winner every time*

Before the pizza came they blew through a ton of tokens.

Cora LOVED Chuck E Cheese.

It did make her very tired.

Case really loves pizza.

REALLY loves pizza.

And here is actual proof that I was at there, too.

Cora's umbilical nub fell off yesterday.

My very last baby is growing so fast.

Her tummy is always so round and full of milk.

I'm honestly sad that she is already getting so big.

Next thing will be new school clothes and dating advice.

Driver's permit and college visits.

Donuts & Milk

We all went to the Krispy Kreme. 

Mmmmm.

Love getting the kids all sugared up before bath & bedtime. 

Service Required

This morning the kids worked on our "broken refrigerator."

I worked on a ton of paperwork.

I've taken the last week off and clearly that was a mistake.

It took me three hours.

It took them twenty minutes.

Calan supervised most of the repairs.

He made Camille go put a hat on or she couldn't use tools.

Mini-Mani

Cora went to the salon with me while I got my hair did.

Then, thanks to Blake, she got her first mini-mani.

Beautiful.

All Dressed up

& nowhere to go.

First Field Trip

Calan went on his first field trip today.

I went to my first MOPS meeting.

He rode a bus for the first time.

I left Cora for the first time (at home with Cody).

He looks very elf-like if you ask me.

again.

This is our go-to park.

Saturday, Geo, along with Jaycee, Maggie and Saddie joined us.

This is how we spent most of our walk.

The girls (including Lola) and Calan ran ahead the entire time.

still no Cora.

Sleeping most of the time.

Friday everything looked good.

She is head down.

I am dilating. 

Now we are waiting.

DAYS past her due date.

She is still a girl. 

Thankful to find that out again.

Her resting heart rate looks like this. 

We poked at her & tried to shake her awake.

Her heart rate still looked like that.

So about 30 seconds after ice water & 1/2 a doughnut her heart rate looked like this.

Tomorrow I go back to the doctor to jump through all the same hoops as last Friday.

Only this time I get to bring all the kids with me instead of just Cody.

Pumpkins 2012

We got all vested up and headed for our new favorite pumpkin patch.

This was everyone's favorite.

Until Race came out sideways.  Then Codes had to assist.

And if I forgot to mention...

Wrigley is under Cody's vest.

He was asleep the entire time in his little carrier.

Case is SUPER into animals right now.

But not hayrides.

Calan chased a rooster around and around until finally he was able to catch a white one that wasn't looking.

We found our perfect pumpkins and then headed home.

Tricks of the Trade

Daddy lets Cit help him with everything. 

Including these huge projects I've been making them do.

SERIOUSLY HUGE PROJECTS.

My "nesting" has spiraled way out of control these last few weeks.

I think we've cleaned every drawer, closet, corner, bin, rug, wall, floor...

and painted/patched/redone every room in the house. 

The house looks so good we could put it on the market. 

But we want to live here forever.

So we aren't putting it on the market.

Still Walking

 We've been taking walks every night. 

Me 9 months pregnant pushing a 3 week old is probably a little confusing to some.

By next week people will think we've had twins.

Case LOVES to wear his hood up.

Just Got Back

from Mishawaka's Homecoming Parade.

We walked 1/4 of a block to the top of our road & spread out our favorite take-everywhere-quilt.

We waited about 3 minutes for the parade to start.

 It was short.

Sweet.

And to the point.

Perfect.

Home in time for naps.
