Duck, Duck, Goose

We went to the Duck Park last night. I've had saltines in the pantry just waiting for this trip. 

 Calan kept feeding the same 3 geese over & over.

 Camille kept feeding herself over & over.

I'm not sure if the goose or Camille has more crackers on their lips.

 Look at Codes. This guy is amazing. He's holding Case and Lola. He's dividing the crackers evenly between the Camille & Calan. And he just got off of a 12 hour shift at work.

 Calan found a few geese that were loose in the park.

Loosey Gooseys. 

 Calan really really wanted to "hold" the geese. 

 Case was into it.

 He was running after them yelling "hold, hold" but had no luck.

Lola wanted to hold one too.

Ummm...

Could you PLEASE put down the screwdriver sweet boy? 

This kid is out of control.

Last Sunday

We went to the park for some new pics.

Here are the best of each.

I already take too many pics of Calan so this was no loss.

BREAKING NEWS

CASE IS CRAWLING!

Last night he started crawling. 

When he got up this morning he was at it again.

Bouncing

Baby BOY(s)!

I felt like it was only fair to have Cody throw our seven month old into the air.

That, of course, is Case.

And below is Calan at the EXACT same age.

It's a Classic

There is just something that is so distinct about a pose.

It can be the Junior Prom pose.

 Or the Senior in High School pose.

 And even the 

Toddler in a Tree pose.
All are very recognizable.

Shots

Both boys had check-ups Wednesday.

Calan got 2 shots & Case got 4.

Calan's weight is around the 50% mark & his height is 100%.

Case's weight is only 25% and his height is 92%.

Camping.

We had plans for camping over the holiday weekend.

Friday was too hot.

And so was Saturday.

Sunday night and Monday were perfect.

We set up our tent.

 Grandpa got wood for our fire.

We started roasting marshmallows WAY before dinner.

Campfire marshmallows.

They were the size of baseballs. 

 (Calan was in just his diaper for hours because he played in the hose while we were setting up.)

Lo dog even ate her fair share.

 Then weenie roasting.

When we got up the next morning Camille & Calan started in on the marshmallows again.

We went inside and had biscuits & gravy. 

Calan just wanted watermelon because he's a weirdo like that.

 Grandpa opened chocolate bars & showed him how to tuck them into his hoodie.

It's My Fault.

I allowed Calan to pick out TWO different baby foods then I mixed them together with cereal.  

The outcome: Banana & Pea Medley with a touch of Grains.

It doesn't look like Case is complaining. 

Last Weekend

The cousins came up. 

Eli & Micah.

We all walked to the splash pad.

AND

Jazsper 

was

BAPTIZED!

It was so amazing to stand with so many of his family and friends as he took his next steps towards Christ.  We can only hope that one day Jaz stands with us as our boys make the same decision.  

We still think of him like the little boy that he used to be.

Sometimes

these two get along.
