APRIL SHOWERS

Bring the most ridiculously HUGE puddles ever!!!

Calan was able to play for HOURS in the water.

 He played with tools &

 DIRT.

Calan got to see Allie again.

Then out of nowhere

 Lola was under attack!!!

 Earthworm rescues were underway.

 Calan was...

 "stuck."

But Daddy came to the rescue.

Oh yes,

Case was there, too!

Today

We watched birds.

Easter Egg Chalk

Grandma hid Easter eggs with chalk inside of them.

Just Because

This face makes me laugh.

Cheese

 The Cottage kind.

 All by himself.

 Sweet ate his Cottage Cheese.

 For dinner.

In the middle of the living room.

With the help of no one.

And when he was finished he put the lid on.

The spoon on top of the lid.

Then went to play.

12 Weeks Today

Papa Came to Visit

Calan

is growing up. Everyday he looks less & less baby-like.  His smile is toothier by the week & his little body has become so coordinated.  I am fortunate to be able to spend these sweet days with him.  Without Cody working so much I wouldn't be able to. His daddy has been working 60+ hours a week so our days together are long and we are able to spend time in the moments that we share.

There is no rush.

Case sleeps most of the day.

And we play.

Just Calan & I.

Together.

Last Week

We spent a couple of days in Ohio. Sweet Cit got to play at Grandma's Nursery & make a new friend.

He showed Grandma his power tool skills.

And even Race Car was awake enough to enjoy the day.

The Best $1.99 investment to date.

The Secret

I keep my glassware under the oven in the warming drawer.

Up until now Calan only thought that the handle was used for a step stool.

(Note the trusted PUG)

There's only ONE

thing wrong with this picture.

So?

Did you guess it?

His PUG was missing!

Smiles.

Sweet little Race Car has a crooked smile.

A very cute crooked smile.
