Elkhart Co. 4-H Fair

 It took us a little over 2 hours to get from our house to a parking spot.

It was way worth it.

 Luckily we only tried on $120 worth of cowboy hats.

 Coco's hair  +  Humidity = Tons of Volume

 This pig's legs wouldn't shut and it's tongue was on the ground.

 There was an elephant show going on but I just think that it seems a little too dangerous to trust a carnie with a cane controlling a 10,000 pound animal. So Daddy lifted the kids from a safe distance and we moved on. (The elephant's name was Cora!)

 The kids took a break in the grass to eat breaded grease fair food.

 One apple was passed around to all five kids.

 Case had Cody hold onto a necklace that was in his mouth.

It was a very Kid-on-a-Leash look.

We started at the tractor pull and ended at the tractor pull.

We got home after midnight.

Race Car's Staples

Race Car hit his head at the public pool. We could see bone. It hardly bled. The staples were removed yesterday. Can't wait to see the bill. The End.

 This must have been gourmet coffee because my mom spent 2 hours making it.

 Kelly Gates gave Calan the best sword bubble maker ever.

We keep it in our car for perfect bubble blowing times like this.

Cora's hair was covered in dirt.

 This is that little guy I watched.

(He's still with the the foster family and we are still praying that he stays with them forever.)

My kids have been making their way onto Facebook.

Don't love that but oh well.

These are from MJ's 5th Birthday party.

We've met Papa at the zoo for a Teamsters cookout.

We also met Papa at the Family Reunion this past weekend but I was too lazy to take pics.

We took our friend to Drew Claire to our favorite splash pad.

Ronald McDonald came to our library so we invited our friends to join us.

She wants to be so big.
She can wave.
She can stand on her own.
She can not stop smiling.

You never know what can happen.
It's always better to be over prepared.

Everyone Get Your Blue On

 Last night we went BLUEBERRY picking.
Organic Blueberry Picking.

 At some point everyone wore Calan's new favorite hat.

 Between all of us we probably ate the weight of one child in blueberries.

 Coco had no trouble picking her own.

 And there it is.

2.2 pounds of collected berries.

 We finished off the evening in one of our new favorite spots.

We've been hanging out in cemeteries lately. 

Different ones.

They are quiet. Usually empty. And we can let the kids run in any direction that they choose.
