The Zoo

We rode a train.

Fed some fish.

Cody got pooped on by a bird (bottom left pic).

It's Too Hot Out

We sometimes sit on our porch naked and eat popsicles.

Well, we aren't naked but the kids are.

Case hasn't grasped the stick part.

Literally. 

Happy Memorial Day.

We walked over to our very favorite parade this morning. 

We Spent the Day at the Lake

Now we are home. 

Tired. 

& Nap-less. 

Daddy cooked out & even made corn on the cob.

We Went to the Beach AGAIN

 Case is a man of few words. 

He sat.

He rolled.

 He wore a bucket.

He ate some sand.

Faux Camping

We did everything besides stay the night.

We had a fire & cooked marshmallows & hot dogs.

We sat & bounced on our air mattress.

 We brought our dog.

 And then we went home and slept in our own beds after taking baths.

Three Reasons to Hate the Beach

 Sun.

 Sand.

Water.

This Time It's Different

I'm sure you've gotten a call or text by now.

This time we found out the baby's sex.

We aren't going to be surprised and we aren't keeping it a secret.

It's a girl.

We are also pretty sure that we are naming her Cora. 

We hopefully won't receive too many stories from concerned friends & family.

I'm sure that you once knew a Cora.

A mean one. 

An ugly one. 

One that sat in front of you in school and picked her nose. 

That's OK with us. 

We still like the name & aren't searching for new trial ones, either. 

She is measuring a couple of days big but both boys were pretty tall.

Dirty Diapers

Calan asked for a diaper and wipes.

Sure.

He then put Emmae's doll on the coffee table, stripped it down & wiped it up.

Calan Fell

All the way down our basement steps.

He has a scrape behind his ear. 

One eye is black.

And there is another long scratch on his collar bone.
