Great Grandpa Rans

Cody's Grandpa passed away yesterday.  We were able to spend some time with him last month. He really loved Camille and she wouldn't even sit on his lap. Kids are fickle pickles you know.

In October he got to hold her for about 6 seconds but then she cried and Daddy had to rescue her.

 Laughing & smiling because it's only his family around.

(He doesn't really like too many other people. He just tolerates them as long as they keep their distance & don't look him in the eye.)

 He was then bending backwards trying to show off. 

He thinks he's pretty funny sometimes.

I Found This

In the playroom. 

The kids always ask Cody to draw a cow.

This is his cow.

It is always exactly the same.

We Joined the Club

I've been seeing this food coloring milk thing all over the internet. 

So this morning Cit and I tried it before the other two woke up.

 Milk & Food Color in a bowl.

Touch it with Dish Soap to break the surface tension.

 Swirls.

It's No Laughing Matter

 Monday night Cody worked until 8 p.m.  We meet him at Playland until they closed at 9 then went to a park. We were there until about 10 when Calan, Lola & I were racing each other on the sidewalk his shoe caught on the cement and he fell onto his face. He wasn't even able to catch himself with his hands. They, too, have scrapes on the back of them.
