Disability

It may look like he has a fully functioning finger but this band-aid made his entire arm paralyzed for the day.  We referred to it as his "disability."

In the Country

Things are just different.

Sometimes Boots are nailed to a barn wall

Jeans hang on clothes lines.

 Calan climbed on Gates &

 Got to pet the Bull with Daddy.

 Driving the new Tractor was a must.

 We headed over to check out Andrew's new house & play with all of his toys & animals.

Siamese Twins

These two are NEVER apart.

Not even the cast iron of the tub can separate their love.

Accessories

Today when I peeked in to see what Calan was doing in his bedroom he was wearing his conductor hat. He put it on all by himself and wore it around the house for hours.

8 weeks today

as in 2 months old!

Shells

These little blobs continue to be all over my house.

Almost everyday.

He just sucks out the orange juice then spits out the shell.

... Case Car ... Race Car ...

At this point, we pretty much only refer to Case as "Mc Race" or "Race Car."
Don't know why.
We just do.
I guess because we can.

7 weeks

Case started making eye contact last Thursday & now smiles when you talk to him.

Chicago

Cody had NO idea that we were going to Chicago until Karen asked him to take the bypass to Goshen.  He couldn't believe that we were going to go north when Goshen was south.  He kept trying to argue that we were going way out of the way & when we were getting on the toll road Karen told him that she had seen a Goshen sign on the toll road.  We all yelled, "Surprise!" then let him in our secret.  We weren't going shopping all day -we were headed to Chicago.  He couldn't believe that we had pulled it off & talked about how shocked he was for half of the trip.

The train rides started happy.

But ended sad.

We stopped everywhere Cit wanted.

 Had our pics taken.

Got to play the new 3D nintendo that didn't require 3D glasses.

If you wanted to steal it it came with a person.

They were actually padlocked to their waists.

Then checked into the hotel where we went swimming & stayed up WAY too late.
